Good but has been better...

Liked: Really quirky little hotel in a prime location. Myself and my wife have visited numerous times over the years and love this place
Disliked: The rooms are now worn and grubby.Needs decorating and maintaining better.The last time we stayed disappointed us due to the the drop in standards.

Liked: Staff very helpful, offering to hold bag for us on the last day, and offering advice on how to get around easily. Room was overall clean and in good condition. Location was great, right behind the museum gardens which is lovely to walk through, which then gives access to the city centre.

Liked: 1. Size of the room is pretty big2. Nice design in the room overall3. Tables and chairs available to put things 4. Fridge available as well
Disliked: 1. Toilet fixtures positioning can be improved. Toilet door will hit the heater when open. Shower panels should be full instead of an odd length - I accidentally bump into the panel during my stay2. Location can be difficult to access. You have to cut through a park which has fixed opening hours. Otherwise you might need to walk a big round to get to there

Liked: The hotel is brilliant & in a very good location we love it.
Disliked: When we were checking out we didn't like the way a manager spoke to a member of the house keeping team in front of guests, it was clear there was a house keeping shortage he was very abrupt with the staff & rude in front of us. The girl asked cant you help, he replied im not house keeping im a manager as if it was beneath him. We didn't feel it was good or professional especially coming from a manager.
