Fantastic place, beautiful hotel and...

Liked: Decor and location just perfect and the bath tub in the room was such a lovely touch
Disliked: We came as a group and the reception seemed to charge just one of our cards for use of the mini bar etc which seemed weird as we had 3 rooms between 3 couples and so that was just an odd way to do it as could have caused an issue between friends.

Lovely relaxing stay

Liked: Location was wonderful. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the cathedral and down a quiet road, opposite the park. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. Very comfy king size bed and big walk in shower. The room was also very clean.
Disliked: After looking at the photos online, I assumed there would be more of a Nordic/Viking theme and this was part of the reason I booked it. I have no complaints at all about the room but it was just fairly generic. The room was also really hot but I do appreciate the fan that was provided for us.

Liked: I absolutely loved the hotel itself it was so beautiful and easy to find, out the way yet close to everything. Comfy and loved duchess the reception dog.
Disliked: The only thing I would say we weren’t as happy with was when we booked we wanted to make sure there was a television in the room however we was unable to use it in the time we was there

Liked: Ideal location. Quiet, close to park, clean room and friendly welcome. Comfortable bed and all facilities were great.
Disliked: Floorboards in room above were very loud and creaky so any movement from people above was quite loud. Old property so understandable.
