Liked: We were visiting family and this hotel was very close. We stayed in one of the 3 rooms at ground level, off the parking lot. It worked great for us as one of the travellers was elderly and stairs not the best option. We didn't have to do that. We also needed 2 beds and our room was split in 2 with the washroom in the middle. Each side had window air conditioner, a wall TV, Armour or dresser. My side was a single bed that also had another pullout single bed underneath should you need it. The other side had a queen bed. It worked well for 2 friends travelling together. Would request this room again. The restaurant was a highlight dinner. Excellent food, wine & service.

A good old fashioned welcoming...

Liked: It was a quaint old school hotel that isn’t a chain. It was nestled among a classic Ling Island neighborhood that was in walking proximity of a park.
Disliked: Everything was great!

A brilliantly located family run...

Liked: The location was amazing with close access to the beach and tucked away at the end of a lovely residential area next to parks. Liked the family run style of the hotel.
Disliked: We had 2 double beds, 1 great (firm) but other too soft.

Moldy and Musty

Liked: What breakfast? The greeter was nice
Disliked: The hotel is old. The room was musty and moldy. The floor was uneven. The bathroom smelled bad. There was no stopper in the sink. The table was uneven. There was no luggage rack or amenities. There was no elevator.

Liked: Cute little hotel with very friendly staff even with a late night check in. We only stayed for one night but the bed was comfy, room was clean, and all was well
Disliked: Only thing I would say is that the hotel clearly is older. I found it charming and nice but others may not appreciate the older facilities.
