Great location, no ice

Liked: Loved the location and the size of the room. The team was friendly and very helpful. The AC and water pressure worked great and the bed was comfy.
Disliked: No ice, no safe and we reserved a king bed. Our room had a queen. No housekeeping which was fine because we can take care of ourselves but there was a note saying that there would be a charge if we didn’t wash our dishes that I didn’t love.

Amazing Property and Great Value

Liked: The location of the property was perfect for our overnight stay. We traveled as a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 children, & a baby) and the 2 bedroom was more than comfortable. It was close by everything we wanted to visit (French market, cafe du monde, boardwalk, Jackson square, and local eateries). Everything was within comfortable walking distance. It was also right a street over from bourbon street for those visiting that part of the French quarter. Everything was super clean. The beds were comfortable. There were ear plugs provided as well which was a nice touch (though I wouldn’t visit a party town and expect silence). The view from the balcony was great. Also can’t beat the price! We’d definitely love to stay again on an adults only trip.
Disliked: The sofa bed was really hard. My kid made it work. And there’s a lot of stairs so be prepared for a workout. My only recommendation is that the rooms be numbered at the bottom of the stairs (I.e. #1, 3, 5 <—- and #2, 4, 6 —->) since I had to climb all the way up on the wrong side trying to find our room. I heard someone else struggle with the same. If it were noted at the bottom of the stairs it would’ve been easier. But nothing that prevents us from wanting to return.

Liked: The staff was super polite. The property grounds and rooms were very clean for the age of the property.
Disliked: The tiny spiral stair case but that just part of the available room selection. The worst part was the blow dryer has not been used in a long time and there were cobwebs and dead bugs in the back that show if you just look at it. Cleaning crew should be checking these during the post gust cleaning.Nowhere to store clothes upstairs. It would help to add a few hooks on the upstairs wall; nice decorative hooks that would allow a few hanging pieces of clothing.
