Brilliant location , central but...

Liked: Good choice for breakfast. Bed comfortable. Glad to have a fan provided in the heat. Nice view from bedroom. Lovely peaceful location. Very clean. Nice to have the option to use the honesty bar and to help ourselves to milk from the fridge. The location was perfect for seeing Rye.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have the option to turn the towel rail off in the bathroom for the Lorelei room, especially in the hot weather but it was nice to have a blind to pull down to keep the hot sun out!

Perfect weekend getaway

Liked: The rooms are beautiful and well taken care of. I was in the Conrad Aiken Suite and had a picturesque view of the garden. The breakfast is delicious and filling. The staff will help you bring your luggage up the stairs, so don't worry about the stairs and no elevator.

Magical stay in historic Rye.

Liked: What a treasure Jeake's House is. Located on historic Mermaid Street and close to all the fabulous bars and restaurants. The history of the house is very interesting. The decor and layout of the property is stunning. The owners and staff are all lovely and very helpful. The breakfasts are first class. We liked the honesty bar where you served yourself. I can't speak more highly about this marvelous guest house.
Disliked: That we only stayed for three nights- we loved it so much.
