James Hotel

Never again!!!

Liked: Very little to like about this Hotel, Apart from the room being clean. The location is good for beach access and bars, noise.
Disliked: This is a very poor Hotel, needs serious refurbishment all over the building. They offer parking but yet they only have a very limited amount of spaces, I had to pay to park in the multi storey carpark 2 blocks away, which was an additional cost and the hotel did not offer to subsidise at least. There was constant noise from inside and outside the hotel. The "A/C" was a plug in unit that made more noise than anything else. There was constant music being played outside the hotel and cars revving engines driving past. Which none of this was on the booking description. When I asked staff for information they couldn't help me out. I don't think I will stay here again and will never recommend it to anyone. The whole building is floored with broken tiles which we kept tripping on and every bit if furniture being moved could be heard throughout the building. TBH, it shouldn't be called a hotel it's more of a backpackers hostel not somewhere I would stay with my family.

Disliked: Could be cleaner and WiFi didn’t work

Met expectations

Liked: Fairly central location for south beach. Quirky place. Cheaper than other rooms in the area.
Disliked: Beds not comfortable. Very basic. Not good for long stay.

Disliked: Pillows were a little flat and beds a tad hard but still comfy
