I enjoyed the location and...
Liked: Clean and good location
Disliked: The walls were so thin I could hear the tv next door for hours and every conversation they had in the room

Overall, we agreed that when...
Liked: We loved the amenities, the restaurant on site, the availability of Starbucks and light breakfast to go, the pool, the views of the lake and golf course, parking, comfortable beds, and having a mini fridge for our own snacks/drinks.
Disliked: I didn't like that the hotel didn't offer complimentary water for guests, but charged $2 per bottle. Given the heat in SC, we had to go out and buy a case of water and lug it into the room, so it would be nice if each guest received at least a bottle per day or there was lemon/cucumber water and cups in the lobby for guests. I also think the lighting in the bathroom could be brighter and the bathroom updated to a lighter color, as it was too dark for us.

Great location and rooms, but...
Liked: This is a great location, the property is beautiful and well kept, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would have rated this property a 10, but the lack of communication regarding the scheduled power outage during our stay lowered my score.
Disliked: The Inn had a scheduled power outage for the day of our check out starting at 8am that was to last up to 6 hours. There was no mention of this when we checked in the day before. They did not offer any discounts or give any alternatives for coffee or breakfast, nor did they make any accommodations for the rooms. We got ready using the flash lights on our iPhones. The cleaning staff came by later in the morning with their lantern and asked if we needed towels. That was the only staff to reach out to see if we needed anything. The only notification we received regarding the power outage was through the Booking.com notifications center which I was not checking during our vacation time. The front desk staff should have notified/reminded us when we checked in and offered some accommodations for the room and for breakfast.
