Liked: The room was a nice size. Clean and modern.
Disliked: Although the staff were friendly, it was a bit frustrating that they couldn’t help us find parking (other than valet) as the streets were being cleaned. The staff also told us the kids over 12 could swim during adult periods, but found out later that it was over 16. So that was quite disappointing for my kids (13 and 15)

Liked: Lots of amenities, beds were very comfyLooks like a glitzy 70’s-80’s music Las Vegas themed hotel! Not my style at all but would be great for parties and events
Disliked: The room was very expensive at over $400 for 1 night, my daughter and I were put in a room far away from reception with lots of luggage to carry, several unclear directions to remember in order to get to the room with no assistance from staffThe room was an adjoining room, we could hear every single word the people next door were saying to each other. The decor in our room felt dated and old. The immediate area outside the hotel felt a bit sketchy at night. I doubt I would stay here again

Modern, cozy and cool hotel...

Liked: Modern hotel with comfy rooms, great location (very close to many restaurants, pubs, …), very nice and helpful staff, modern gym and swimming pool, several restaurants - Mojo offers great cocktails and a nice view over the city/harbour, Exile offers great breakfast. We had a great time!

Liked: The room was great. We could see the whole harbour from our room. Our porter, Max, was very welcoming and informative. It was a great start to our trip.
Disliked: The hotel didn't provide bottles of water in our room. But I think it might be a local policy? And you can get one bottle of water from the gym. Otherwise, we were told that we could buy bottled water near the lobby.

Liked: Location, the comfortable bed, the lady who serves at the reception
Disliked: I don’t like the valet, he’s not helpful, making me worry about my overnight parking that I found it’s not necessary at all; I don’t like the restaurant staff. They are not polite, not efficient at all. They are not as nice as most of Newfoundlanders we met in other restaurants in St. John.
