Jacobs Creek Retreat - Barossa Valley

Affordable and clean accommodation but...

Liked: The location and affordability. It was clean.
Disliked: Very basic and dated facilities - a bed and 2 chairs. Room was very cold despite air conditioning being on all the time. Bathroom was freezing. Gardens were lovely but on cold winter weekend were not able to be enjoyed.

The gardens were lovely, but...

Liked: The garden was lovely, and the buildings very pretty - classic older cottages, with a French look. Very quaint.
Disliked: The room itself was not what we expected for the price. There were no windows so it was quite dark and not a room you could relax or hang out in - so not quite the resort that was promised. Needs serious updating, especially the bathrooms. We booked for two nights but stayed just one.

Disliked: Lack of hanging space. Also, lack of washing and drying facilities if staying for longer than 2 days in the cedar suite
