5 star stay in Paignton

Liked: The lady that owns the bnb is the loveliest person that simply can not do enough for you to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as it can be, the food was generous and excellent and the location is perfect a few minutes walk to the town and the beach and also the train station.
Disliked: The dawn wake ups from the locals [seagulls)

Disliked: Out the front looks tacky and unkempt with cigarette buttsHallway needed a good HooverLack of interaction with hosts: the only time was when a lady answered the front door to hand over my keys and tell me where my bedroom was (no introduction, no information, no niceties). The second time was an apology from a man smoking on the porch and blocking the exit. No other contact during my stay. At no time was I offered breakfast despite the website, booking.com and board at the front saying they do breakfasts (I’d emailed the property weeks before coming about breakfast and got no reply) looking at past reviews they used to offer a form to fill out the night before with your breakfast choice, this was not provided to me.Filthy shower with black mould on the head, under the soap holder, behind the shower metal and the corners of the bottomStained duvet coverNo toiletries providedNo clean cup for the second dayOverall, I would not return or recommend -it isn't the guest house that past reviews attest to providing warm welcomes or lovely cooked breakfasts.

Very reasonably priced single ensuite...

Liked: The value for money, and the convenience of the location
Disliked: Some unwanted noise transferred from other rooms - the sound insulation between the rooms isn't the best

Liked: Staff super friendly and helpful. Room cosy and homely. Will definitely stay again. Much better than anything else near by.
Disliked: Nothing !!!

Disliked: Cold through the night, lumpy pillows, thin quilt, could have been cleaner. Never met the owner so I can’t comment on that.
