Perfect position for the ferry,...

Liked: Freshly cooked breakfast was great, the welcome and overall ambiance of the property was great. Shower was hot and great pressure.
Disliked: The single beds could do with being changed as my feet were cramped at the end of the bed. Some people like to dangle their feet!!

Great Stopover

Liked: This was my second stay at Ivybridge so, clearly, they are doing something right! This is the perfect place for an overnight stay if you are heading back late from the ferry. It's a 5 minute drive from the port, is quiet and clean with a private car park and serves an excellent Full English breakfast.
Disliked: Unfortunately, there was a strong smell of garlic in my room which I imagine came from the cooking of Chinese food downstairs. The soundproofing was somewhat lacking. I could hear every step of the guest in the adjacent bathroom even though I could tell he was barefoot. However, once everyone was in bed, it was totally silent.

Ideal stop over from Ferry...

Liked: Good communication from the owner. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plenty of options at Breakfast and it was served very quickly.

Superb

Liked: Mark was super helpful and friendly, even giving the kids little toy cars to play with over breakfast. The garden was lovely for the kids to run around and the family room was very well equipped and laid out.
Disliked: The only negative was the mattress was a little uncomfortable but that could also be personal preference and overall everything was great!
