A number of 'firsts'... and...

Liked: The location was OK and the room was quite clean.
Disliked: This hotel had some "firsts"...The first spa we ever encountered with no (not one) lounger to properly rest after a sauna. Only straight seats. The 'spa' was very dissapointing, and the pool looks and feels like a public swimming pool from the 80s.The first breakfast that changes price 4 times (£18, then an offer for £12, then £18 again when you have to pay and - another first - a plus charge for a hot breakfast. This is highly overpriced and felt like a scam. The first hotelbar that makes you come to order and pick up your drinks and still charges extra for service (What service? The staff wasn't even friendly!).All in all, despite a clean room and a nice location, we were dissapointed about several aspects of this hotel and would not recommend staying there.

A really excellent choice for...

Liked: room excellent and welcome tray refreshments first class including GF for one guest. They were renewed each day.
Disliked: There are a lot of steps and going up and down. But that;s due to the design and it didn't really matter

Lovely hotel with fabulous restaurant

Liked: Nice room, nice spa and fantastic restaurant. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Loved sitting out on the terrace for a drink.
Disliked: The spa staff weren’t super helpful when we used the spa for the first time, felt like I had to ask lots of questions to get the full information and to be offered robes and slippers rather.

Reasonable holiday with lots of...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent - great choice on hot menu and help yourself buffet.
Disliked: Hotel design was poor resulting in a long trek with three sets of stairs to negotiate to get from reception/restaurant to our room. There were no elevators
