Liked: The location was near Caspersen Beach and Sharky’s and the rate was cheap.
Disliked: So many things. In order from least to worst issues:1) Provided two thin towels for four registered guests.2) The pillows were as thin as sheets of paper.3) The water pressure was like a trickle.4) The clientele was super shady and the building looked like a crack hotel from the outside.5) The pool was filthy with dozens of dead insects including dead spiders.6) The AC unit was ancient. It was super loud but would shut off abruptly every few minutes making sleep impossible. Felt unbearably warm set at 72°. At one point, it spewed toxic fumes into our room at 3am and the manager came to inspect and said, “Don’t worry about it”!7) The smoke detector/carbon monoxide detector was non-functional, proven by the fact that I made the manager test it in front of me and he again said, “Don’t worry about it” when he couldn’t get it to work.Here’s a detailed account of #’s 6 and 7 in particular of why this was the worst hotel (really motel) of my life and I’m contacting the BBB:The building was in rough shape and inhabited by very shady characters. At one point, at 3am, I went to adjust the temperature of the AC unit as it was unbearably hot even set at 72°. At that moment, I accidentally clicked the button “heat” next to “cool” and changed it back within 30 seconds of noticing my error. That’s all it took. A plume of invisible noxious gas poured into the room, instantly waking my wife and young children. Smelt like carbon monoxide poisoning. I called the manager who came by and said, “Don’t worry about it”. I said, “I am worried about it. Especially since the smoke detector does not work”. He got on a chair and tested it himself and he verified it doesn’t work and said again, “Don’t’ worry about it, just open the back door”. He said, “I clean the AC units myself, it’s just the smell of the furnace not being used in a while”. But I explained we immediately all felt light headed and unsafe.

Liked: This is a family owned establishment that iv stayed at for goin on 10 years now. It is consistently nice place to stay.
Disliked: I njoy talking with the owners. They r super friendly The beds in the room best beds at ANY HOTEL iv ever stayed at.

Liked: The pool.
Disliked: You get what you pay for with a cheap room. Property’s parking lot is tight, rooms smelled like the world’s oldest goodwills. Musky and old. Creepy crawlies. Had to use car air fresheners and put them in the window a/c unit. The rooms need some TLC. Showers weren’t great, rinsed off in the pool instead. Don’t you dare bring a black light unless you want to follow up with a mental breakdown knowing what you’re actually sleeping on. Choose elsewhere for your sake.
