Island Inn

Room smelled bad; the tub was black - not clean; it looked like a dirty person took a bath in the tub! The beds needed new mattresses - was almost on the floor; the comforters were old. The internet pictures are very wrong! One of the walls were painted a really bad green color and the rest of the walls were not even washed down. The walls were to be white but it was a grey color. Would not let my worst enemy stay in this hotel or an animal. Did not stay at the motel at all - found a different motel. Paid for the room that I reserved - it was only right.

Liked: Close to the Nebraska State Fair.
Disliked: When entering the hotel the entry way smelled really bad.

Liked: We didn't even end up staying. We got another hotel.
Disliked: The place was dirty. The hallways were dirty and smelled awful. They couldn't even get our room to open so they changed us rooms. There were screens for the window just standing against the wall, there was a hole in the bathroom door. We took our stuff and left. (I can't add a photo because I only took a video and it won't let me upload it)

Liked: Very good value for a single traveler just looking for a place to sleep. No food options other than coffee and tea. There is a Casey's 50 yards aways that can service hot and cold food needs.

Liked: The price. The young man was very helpful at the front desk. Appreciated everything he did to make things right.
Disliked: Informed girl at front desk that ice machine had a bunch of black stuff in it and she didn't care. Still in there until we left 2 days later
