Island inn

Liked: The room was nice and cozy. The beach decoration and theme was nice. Plenty of utensils and cookwear. Everything was clean and ac was ice cold.
Disliked: The bbq grill area was right in the open sun. Only 1 grill worked and didn't cook very well cause the wind off the ocean blew the flame all around. Area definitely needs a little gazebo or something to block the wind a bit.

Great view! Great beach!

Liked: Great view from the balcony. The beach was perfect and not too crowded. Room was nice and had a few things to use at the beach, like umbrella and chairs and floaties and toys. We were in Room 414. There were nice chairs on the balcony also. The pool was nicer than we expected - 8 ft deep! The tiki bar at the pool was convenient for drinks.
Disliked: When I checked in, I was told I had to pay an additional fee - the taxes - that the hotel says my booking company did not include. (I used Booking.com) I'm not sure who to hold accountable for that miscommunication, but it's pretty disappointing to get there and get charged more than was advertised.

Clean rooms with an amazing...

Liked: Loved walking out the door and being on the beach . Room was clean and spacious and provided everything needed for the week.
Disliked: Bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan so it got hot quickly in the bathroom when showering.

Overall a good stay for...

Liked: Great location, staff was very friendly and accommodating
Disliked: Upon arriving there was no running water, due to maintenance. Had to go off property to use the restroom which was unexpected and inconvenient.

The staff was very nice....

Liked: The location on the beach was great!
Disliked: The furniture in our room was very dated and not line the pics. Also, we could not enjoy the patio because the AC was blowing lots of extremely hot air, making it miserable to sit out there.

Liked: The view of the ocean, and all the staff was very polite and knowledgeable it was very helpful.Wish I'd have been able to stay long enough to see the turtles hatch.
Disliked: Would have been nice if you can smoke on your balconies outside but understand why you can't
