Liked: This was our first trip to Key West... and it didn't disappoint!!And that's mostly because we had a great start at the Island City House Hotel!!The buildings are gorgeous architecture. They've really tried to preserve the old world charm while updating for modern tastes.We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with my sister and her new husband.The living/dining room was plenty large for us to sit and hang... and we didn't need it, but the couch was a pull out to accommodate 2 more people.The kitchen was fully stocked and usable with a microwave, stove, refrigerator, sink.They offer complimentary coffee, water, snacks, and stock daily.The bathroom was so cute and well decorated. The water pressure was quite good!! I'm not used to that on an island.The bedrooms were nice. A bit smaller but we don't need a lot of room.There are tvs in both bedrooms.THE BEST PART.... is the bicycle rentals... these bikes... saved our world lol. They are $15/day. By far the best money we spent down there!! Cars are basically unusable... bikes are a must on the island!!The grounds and gardens... are spectacular. Absolutely amazing. It's so calming to sit in the sitting areas and just hear the water, birds, wind.... love it.The pool was nice, private, great furniture.We also received a $5/day coupon the the nearby bakery (3min walk)... which had the BEST croissants I've ever had...We will definitely be return customers.
