Overall a great experience

Liked: The location is really good, and a good deal for the money. The breakfast is generous, there are coffee tea and cookies available all day. The house is old, which is part of the charm, and despite the challenges well kept. The room was well equipped.
Disliked: Most of staff is nice, but a couple of them were quite unpleasant

Just what I needed for...

Liked: Irving House met my needs for a very convenient, quiet, nicely decorated place to stay very close to the Harvard campus. I was traveling alone and thus was happy with a small room and a shared bath. Fellow residents were quiet and respectful. I particularly appreciated the ample breakfast that was served onsite, and the ability to store my bag there in the morning before I could check in. The Broadway market a short walk away was also convenient for buying food for my other meals. I would definitely go back there again.
Disliked: No complaints.
