Will come back!

Liked: This is the 2nd time we stayed here in recent weeks and travelled an extra 3 hours on our journey just so we could stay here again. It's what I would call old-fashioned charm. Despite the stair carpets being a little worn (which does not detract from the overall experience), the rooms we stayed in on both occasions were lovely. The beds are very comfortable (double on our first visit, two singles on our second). All of the staff we have met have been very friendly and welcoming and the cooked breakfast in the morning is really good for taste and value for money.Needless to say, we fully intend to return as soon as we can :)
Disliked: Being senior citizens, dragging our heavy cases up the stairs is slightly demanding. Staff offered to help on both trips, but it would be helpful if there was some sort of lift arrangement, even if only for bags. However, I don't think the building age or structure would really support such a thing. But hey ho. We managed, and it did not put us off wanting to stay here again.

4 blokes, two beds

Liked: Location, food, staff
Disliked: Booked twin rooms. Followed up with a message requesting twin rooms. Arrived to hear we had double rooms and claims of no twin booking or message received. Showed staff the email but not much could be done. We asked for spare bedding and we re arranged the beds to twins ourselves.
