Cottonwood is a better location...

Liked: Bed was comfortable. It was quite. Liked the courtyard except for the smoking. Could not enjoy the courtyard had to leave the area because of the smoking. Great locations. Close to restaurants and shops. The town is very friendly. Better than Sedona except for the view of the Sedona mountains. Not crowded like Sedona. Traffic was easy. The food at the Tavern Grill was fabulous.
Disliked: Room was small, No lamps on night stand to read. The ceiling lights were to bright. No dresser to put clothes in had to work out of my suit case. Bathroom was a step up had to be careful at night. No counter space just a sink in the room. Nothing to help with your luggage to and from the parking lot behind the hotel to the room. Have to carry everything by hand so if you have trouble walking this is not the place for you. The layout of the room is not user friendly. Needs a makeover, old furnishings. Smoking in the courtyard was annoying.

Liked: Amazing courtyard, located right in downtown Cottonwood off of Main St. Can walk everywhere and by hiking trails and wineries!
Disliked: No pool.
