Just 10 minutes' walk from Inverness Rail Station Inverness Youth Hostel offers free private parking and bicycle storage. Eastgate shopping center is a 10-minute walk from this hostel. Hootananny a popular music venue is just 15 minutes' walk away. Culloden Battlefield and its visitor center can be reached after a 10-minute drive. The banks of Loch Ness and the country village of Dores are both a 20-minute drive away. Urquart Castle is within 30 minutes' drive of Inverness Youth Hostel. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities and are simply furnished. Packed lunches can be arranged on request and luggage storage is available. Hosteling Scotland is a charity and membership organization. For nonmembers a supplement per person per night is included in the published rate.

the general experience is ok

Liked: Easy location for a short stay but remains an hostel so less confortable than an hotel.
Disliked: 1 of the 2 rooms (the single one) was not enough clean.

Disliked: They make me feel they were doing me a favour by allowing me stay in the hostel, no respect for customer and they are very rude
