Liked: Loved everything about this stay!! Linette and Dermot were delightful hosts who took the time to get to know us and fill us up with everything we needed to know to enjoy Inverness from a local perspective. This property sits adjacent to the banks of the Caledonian Canal which is a quiet and family friendly base to walk from and take in the beauty of Inverness. The local residents that we encountered on the banks of the canal, usually out for a walk with their dogs, were very friendly and welcoming as we chatted about their community and our experiences during our stay. We're from Texas, and at the end of June the temps top 100 degrees. Coming to Inverness to beat the heat, view the scenic beauty, and experience Scotland's culture for an entire week was just what we needed! The Inverness House was the PERFECT place for us to stay. Absolutely recommend this property and its hosts... you'll be glad you stayed here. We were!! :-)

Liked: Excellent breakfast with a very good fruit selection. Haggis was also very good!
Disliked: Like many places in Scotland, it's more set up for cool weather rather than the heatwave we had! So a thinner quilt on the bed would have been better.

Liked: Beautiful house about 20 min walk from the City. Our accommodation consisted of a lovely lounge overlooking the garden, a shower room & bedroom with a super comfy bed. A few minutes walk leads on to the Canal with great walks in both directions. Stunning views. Breakfast is taken in a lovely mezzanine dining area (or your room). Food choices were great and the quality was excellent! Dermot & Linette were wonderful friendly hosts.
Disliked: Everything was perfect for our short break.

Liked: The breakfast was incredible each morning with a variety of choices and the opportunity to select your meal the night before. The house is located a quick 30 minute walk into the city centre. Parking was easily accessible next to the house, with plenty of space a safe atmosphere.
