Lovely castle and gorgeous grounds....

Liked: This was a very very expensive room for what the experience actually was. The food in the restaurant was delicious though and the staff was friendly and helpful. For the price we paid I expected more luxury and grandness. I would not go back although I enjoyed my stay for the one night. The property surrounding the castle was lovely. Nice and quiet with beautiful grounds.
Disliked: I could have been more updated. There was some shabbiness to it that did not appeal to me. The antiques were very nice and the dinning experience was very nice.

Superb

Liked: Food is amazing, staff is very helpful, settings are beautiful. The hotel names their rooms after their long term serving staff which is really sweet thing to do.
Disliked: To stand about from other hotels in the same category, cleaning can be improved, maybe pay more attention to details.

Exceptional

Fabulous- just what I needed

Liked: The setting is stunning, the service was exceptional, my suite was very comfortable and the atmosphere in the public rooms warm and friendly so it was easy to strike up conversation if you wished to. The food is amazing. I recommend the dining room. It is beautifully styled as a hotel and I would strongly recommend it over Glencoe House Hotel. The location is great for walking. I came to walk and did some fabulous trailed paths in between Christmas and New Year- including Ben Nevis.
