Breakfast was the only downside

Liked: Central location in a quiet plaza.A comfortable, quiet, well-equipped room.Friendly staff who keep the room very tidy.
Disliked: Breakfast lacked: plain natural yoghurt, seeds(Sunflower, Pumpkin, Flax, Chia) fresh juice, and fresh pastries. The only yoghurt available was ACTIVIA Zero Fat Free. We asked if it was possible to have natural yoghurt, and the answer was: "That is the yoghurt that we have." We shouldn’t be expected to follow a diet while on vacation.No other choice in a 4-star hotel?

Liked: Fantastic location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely bedroom. Fantastic breakfast - lots of choice!

Beautiful hotel with wonderful character

Liked: Our first time in Madrid and was lucky to pick a great location. The Royal Palace is walkable from here along with so many other places such as the busiest shopping area in Madrid. Close to Plaza Mayor as well and all of our tour location meeting points was within the hotel area. Also great chocolate and churros just down the street!

Very good

Liked: The hotel is a bit upscale - with a nice coffee and hot drink station in the room and a nice lobby bar. The hotel staff were lovely.
Disliked: The room was small and it looked out onto an unpleasant air shaft.
