The Spotlight on InTown Suites Extended Stay Knoxville TN

Affordable Comfort Close to Knoxville’s Live Music Action

InTown Suites Extended Stay Knoxville TN is a no-frills, wallet-friendly option located just off South Gallaher View Road. This 2-star hotel offers straightforward, extended-stay accommodations with a laid-back vibe. Rooms come equipped with kitchenettes, flat-screen TVs, and air conditioning — everything you need for a practical stay without the fuss.

Why Concert-goers love it

Concert fans appreciate the hotel’s proximity to Knoxville's major music venues — only about 8 to 9 miles from downtown hotspots like the University of Tennessee Neyland Stadium and the Knoxville Convention Center. While not in the heart of the action, it's close enough for an easy ride-share back after a late-night show. The area is generally quiet, making it a solid choice for those looking for some calm after loud crowds and encore sets. Plus, with 11:00 AM check-in and check-out, it offers a bit of flexibility for late risers.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to split a budget-friendly room
  • Solo travelers catching a dream concert
  • Couples seeking a simple place to crash after a night out
  • Fans needing a rest-friendly, quiet space after a loud show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who’d rather spend on tickets than lodging

Food and Drink Options

While InTown Suites doesn’t offer on-site dining or room service, each room includes a fridge and kitchenette, perfect for storing snacks or reheating leftovers. There are a number of casual restaurants and fast food spots within walking or short driving distance. Late-night cravings? A quick drive down Kingston Pike opens up several 24-hour options. Just note: no breakfast is provided, so plan ahead if you’re waking up late after a show.

Nightlife Options

If you're looking to keep the night going, downtown Knoxville is a quick drive away and packed with bars, breweries, and live music venues. While the hotel itself doesn’t offer nightlife or a bar, it’s a solid base for heading out and exploring the local scene, then retreating to a quieter spot when you're ready to crash.

What People Say

Guests often comment on the value for money and the convenience of having an in-room kitchenette. Many reviewers appreciate the hotel’s cleanliness and quiet atmosphere, and say it’s a solid pick for longer stays. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done — especially if you’ll be spending most of your time out and about.

Areas for Improvement

If you're looking for luxury or on-site amenities like a pool, gym, or bar, this may not be your top pick. Some guests mention that the property could use a bit of updating, and that housekeeping is weekly rather than daily, typical of extended-stay hotels. You’ll also want to plan your meals since there’s no breakfast or restaurant on-site.

The Bottom Line

For concert-goers who want a budget-friendly, no-fuss stay within a short drive of Knoxville’s top music venues, InTown Suites Extended Stay Knoxville TN checks all the right boxes.

Rough Stay

Liked: It was cheaper than any other hotel around it for a reason.
Disliked: Roaches, mold on mattress cover, ZERO HOUSEKEEPING ( false advertisement) parking lot had huge holes in pavement, door locks froze and cards wouldn't work without maintenance showing up with a heater. Lighting was poor, 3 drawer dresser bottom 2 drawers didn't open, refrigerator leaked water inside on shelves, shower stains, exhaust vent in kitchen grime build up was a fire hazard. Curtains too small for window and was told buy my own if I want window to be covered and I was on 1st floor so if I was in kitchen I could see straight out front window.

Never come back

Disliked: The other guests were annoying at night and the morning. They kept talking at the hallway at night front of my room. And, there were some aggressive people knocked on my door continuously in the morning to find somebody that but turned out I’m not the one they looking for.
