Liked: The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I booked a non smoking room and when I was checking in we could smell someone had smoked in my room. But the woman at the front desk didn’t stop till she found me a room that hadn’t been smoked in, and it was free upgrade from the previous style of room I booked. Decent tv channels. The bed itself was comfortable.
Disliked: It was dirty, the laundry room only accepted quarters but businesses nearby wouldn’t make change so if you isn’t have them already you were screwed. There were tons of bugs. They provide towels but you wash them yourself. You have to buy your own toilet paper and such. There was constantly fighting happening right outside my room at night because of other guests trying to fight the poor worker who was just doing his job. I shouldn’t have to fear for my safety when I am paying a place to accommodate me. The parking lot is atrocious, there’s a row of spots against the building that are good. But the other ones are so tiny you can’t even get out of your car if both you and the person next to you park perfectly. Also whenever management or housekeeping or any other workers needs in your room, they will knock twice then barge in even if after the first knock you yell loudly that you are coming and need to make yourself decent. Also my deadbolt didn’t work, only my lock near the top of the door. So any staff with a working key card genuinely could barge in if I hadn’t locked the very top lock. I started putting the armchair in front of the door even when I was awake so I could know if someone was trying to come in. Between the fights outside my door at night and people coming into my room in the daytime, I hardly ever felt safe enough to sleep. I will say I didn’t tell them about the deadbolt because at that point I was just finally glad to get a smoke free room, so MAYBE they would’ve fixed it. However, one day there were room safety inspections, and they looked at the top lock but never even tried the deadbolt, it was like they knew it wouldn’t work yet I hadn’t told them. The deadbolt wouldn’t work because they didn’t line it up with the hole made in the door frame. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had installed them wrong on purpose
