Giliane, visiting Lee's Palace Toronto Mon, 7 April 2014

The perfectly tailored, clean cut, handsome, French accented concierges who, unlike most Canadians, consistently pronounced my name correctly made this hotel experience well worth the cost. I immediately took note of the pristine condition of the entire hotel. I felt comfortable and at home. Great location, beautiful view, amenities as far as the eye can see! You will enjoy your stay here :)

Fabulous

Liked: Appreciated the crisp, white bed linens in our room. Hotel staff were also amazing. They are courteous, friendly and efficient, especially Aline at the front desk. She went out of her way to see that we were happy during our stay. She is an exemplary representative of the hotel.
Disliked: Bathrooms need a little updating perhaps, since exterior tiles around the shower stall looked chipped and grouting is a little discoloured.

We enjoyed our stay and...

Liked: The bed was great as was the service. Check-in staff exceptional.
Disliked: I understand that you're underway with a reno. That said the coffee-maker was broken and the shower was faulty. No instructions on how to use the shower and we almost scalded ourselves. Also, small one inch stopper along the bottom of the glass shower door would have prevented water from getting all over the floor.

I'd recommend this hotel and...

Liked: The InterContinental Hotel in Yorkville is beautiful. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They honored our reservation through bookings and we had a beautiful room - a great deal!
Disliked: I had a lot of trouble getting on to their free WIFI and ended up not using it. This was due in part to our Verizon coverage and not the hotel's fault, however. We ordered an extra robe that didn't arrive, no big deal.
