Giliane, visiting Lee's Palace Toronto Mon, 7 April 2014

The perfectly tailored, clean cut, handsome, French accented concierges who, unlike most Canadians, consistently pronounced my name correctly made this hotel experience well worth the cost. I immediately took note of the pristine condition of the entire hotel. I felt comfortable and at home. Great location, beautiful view, amenities as far as the eye can see! You will enjoy your stay here :)

Good

Liked: The staff were very friendly and room service was good, and the facilities were good as well. The gym and pool were blocked off due to construction at the time but were still made accessible by the stairway. The location is amazing, right across from UofT and is very convenient and accessible. Overall, I had a wonderful stay.
Disliked: There was construction going on at the time, which we were not informed of prior to our stay. this resulted in loud noises in the early morning and often in the afternoon, which did disrupt our stay and sleep. we were however notified at the front desk, but I would have appreciated knowing this information prior to booking

I think it will be...

Liked: The staff was excellent and very helpful. Service was good at breakfast. They held our luggage securely while we went to an afternoon concert and dinner, even though we checked out at noon.
Disliked: The hotel is undergoing remodeling and I was told about that ahead of time. But the four upper floors were being remodeled, causing us to take the stairs from the 3rd floor to the 7th floor to see the pool. The breakfast was O.K. It was not worth $32! Sausage & eggs, plus a couple of sweet rolls. There was quite a bit of road noise being on the 3rd floor and facing a busy street.

Very enjoyable and great location....

Liked: Loved the space in the room. It was very clean and comfortable. My children loved it. Also found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Very kid-friendly with my littles. My kids loved the little beverage kiosk outside the elevators with hot chocolate and cucumber infused water!
Disliked: There wasn't anything that we didn't like. I know there were renovations and we had to take the stairs from the 4th floor to get up to the pool, but my kids thought of it as an adventure.
