Disappointing
Disliked: Our room was right next to the elevator and it sounded like a train was passing by every 3 minutes, and it was so loud that we had to ask for a different room further from the elevator. Staff was not very friendly and didn't want to switch rooms for us, despite the horrendous and frequent sound. The amenities were also disappointing.. the towels were thin, front desk was stingy with water bottles, and bathroom was just okay. While the beds were good (on the firm side which I prefer), they definitely seemed smaller than a Queen. Overall, this hotel was extremely overpriced and definitely not worth the price paid.

Peaceful and relaxing
Liked: Second time staying here. Very relaxing hotel, great spa, all staff is very accomodating. They have all the services you might need (show shine, excellent dry cleaning, bell hops were excellent and front desk staff so kind). The breakfast is great and everyone so helpful, all the restaurants inside are also very good as are the bars. Gym is well equipped too.

Pleasant
Liked: The location was great with many restaurants and shops around. Felt safe to walk around the area. The view from the room was also incredible. Room and bathroom very clean and tidy. The staff was polite and very professional. Breakfast in general was pretty good with a good selection of fruits and local cuisine.
Disliked: The room was a bit outdated and the bathroom could be a bit larger. Main disappointment happened during check out because the hotel charges the room in dollars but you have to pay in Mexican pesos at an exchange rate set by the hotel. Even though I explicitly asked the hotel before check-in if I could pay in US dollars and they confirmed informing it was possible if paid by card. Also, the rate set by the hotel is between 5% and 7% above the market price so I ended up paying more than I was expecting.
