Not worth 5 stars!

Liked: It was a beautiful hotel, great location, clean, friendly but very formal staff.
Disliked: Don’t know why it’s rated 5 star on booking.com - isn’t that the highest possible rating? Then it would have to be perfect and that it certainly was not. Breakfast option was confusing, was told one has a choice of continental buffet or A La carte, I’ve never heard of a 5 star hotel that doesn’t offer a full breakfast buffet.The signage states that The Loft Bar is open every day til late, I went to go there at approximately 10:30pm, there were a group of people in the bar, but despite this I was told the bar is closed because it was a weeknight, so much for being open every day til late. Also I tried going there at another time for a drink and all outside seating area was reserved - (tables reserved, with no-one sitting at them) it’s ridiculous to me that a guest of the hotel needs to make a reservation just to have a drink on the terrace.Finally there is no designated area for smokers. These things are not major criticisms but as such the hotel is not worth a 5 star rating, especially when charging almost $300 a night!
