Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel is a dream for music fans thanks to its ultra-central location — under a block from a subway station and just a short walk to Times Square and dozens of iconic venues. Even after midnight, you’ll have easy transport options back to your room. The rooms are thoughtfully soundproofed, offering a quiet retreat after a loud night out. Plus, with a 24-hour gym and flexible common areas, you can keep your routine going even on a packed show schedule.

  • Breakfast options are available for those recovering from a long night — just ask at the front desk for the latest hours.

Nightlife Options

  • The Stinger is a popular spot in its own right, especially for theatergoers and post-concert minglers.

  • Many mention the helpful staff and smooth check-in process, even during busy times.
  • Visitors appreciate the quiet rooms despite the central location — perfect for winding down after a show.

Areas for Improvement

  • Some guests mention that Wi-Fi may not be included in all bookings — double-check before arrival.
  • The hotel’s popularity means it can be busy during peak tourist seasons.
  • There's no full-service spa if you're seeking deep post-concert pampering, but the rain showers help!

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Mary, Neptune City, visiting Birdland Jazz Mon, 20 August 2018

Staff needs some training; good technology but needs personal relation training.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: We arrived at 2:40pm, check in at 3:00pm. Told we had to wait. OK. We went to the lounge. No one waited on us. Bartender and waiter were talking and fooling around. We went to the bar and placed an order. No one brought us our order. In the meantime another patron became angry with the bartender because she was inattentive. At 3:00pm we were called for our room. We never did get our order. We brought things with us that needed to be refrigerated so we took out the contents. The day we were checking out they knocked on our door and said we used all contents of the refrigerator. We asked them to come in and check it out. We had used nothing. We went to check out. There were only two people at the desk and the line was to the outside door. I finally checked my bill and all the charges were still on for the refrigerator even though the person who checked said it would be removed immediately. It finally was removed but if I had not asked to see the bill I would have been charged an extra $300. We were thinking of staying in an Intercontinental Hotel when we go to Barcelona however after the way we were treated and the inefficiency we experienced that will not be happening.

Please teach receptionist to be...

Liked: Location is very good
Disliked: Receptionist Mr Ahmed was very rude when we approached him for check-in , we requested if entire hotel tariff + tax + security deposit can be taken in cash in advance since I had some issue with limit with my credit card we felt discriminate he didn’t attend us properly , however another receptionist Mr Angel was very polite and understood & helped us check-in he blocked my credit card for security deposit and took advance hotel tariff + taxes in USD cash , my point is at least Mr Ahmed could have conveyed in polite manner rather than being so rude with us

We loved our stay and...

Liked: The hotel was beautiful and perfectly located in walking distance to many restaurants, broadway theaters and Times Square. The onsite restaurant was phenomenal! We ate there multiple times! The shampoo and soap made me feel like I was using spa quality products! Fantastic! The staff was wonderful, for the most part… there are definitely amazing people working here who care about the guests. Eddie and Leo, thank you for taking care of our family. We appreciate you both!
Disliked: The bathroom was clean but I still noticed collected dirt in the corners and something stuck on the wall near a switch that I couldn’t remove. The tile grout was stained and grimy in the shower. We encountered a few snippy staff members, but this was far and few between. The restaurant at happy hour and late evening was slower service. I understand that the day of the week may play a part in staffing. But one server on an evening shift when you have a very busy guest list should be accounted for as well.

Nice view but rooms in...

Liked: Location, view, bed.
Disliked: Very poor cleaning, we had 2 rooms, both in desperate need of a deep cleaning!! No replacement of towelsCheck in slow. At 15h45, there was still only 1 of the 2 rooms available.Expensive.The 25$ credit you get as part of the 35$ resort fee you pay, you can use for a 0.75cl bottle of water from your minibar as it totals at 18,85$ .
