Staff needs some training; good technology but needs personal relation training.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: We arrived at 2:40pm, check in at 3:00pm. Told we had to wait. OK. We went to the lounge. No one waited on us. Bartender and waiter were talking and fooling around. We went to the bar and placed an order. No one brought us our order. In the meantime another patron became angry with the bartender because she was inattentive. At 3:00pm we were called for our room. We never did get our order. We brought things with us that needed to be refrigerated so we took out the contents. The day we were checking out they knocked on our door and said we used all contents of the refrigerator. We asked them to come in and check it out. We had used nothing. We went to check out. There were only two people at the desk and the line was to the outside door. I finally checked my bill and all the charges were still on for the refrigerator even though the person who checked said it would be removed immediately. It finally was removed but if I had not asked to see the bill I would have been charged an extra $300. We were thinking of staying in an Intercontinental Hotel when we go to Barcelona however after the way we were treated and the inefficiency we experienced that will not be happening.

What can I say - great location; great hotel; clean; staff very personable and extremely helpful; would definitely recommend to others.

Need more mirrors in bedroom. Fabulous place to stay. Thank you.

Fantastic.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent and see below. Loved being in the middle of the theatre district. The non-slip shower mat was very reassuring.
Disliked: Breakfast for one was enough for three! Far too big and thus expensive. Please offer child or senior sizes not to waste so much. My room being right on 42nd and 4th floor did make for a lot of noise.

Liked: Thanks to Ms. Cheryl, and specially Mr. David, for assisting to change room, as I stayed for 6 days and 1st room was noisy from subway. Out of hands, rooms are old, 2nd room couldn't open window and noisy from old AC, when informed maintenance they didn't resolve but allover was good stay.

Liked: The rooms are a good size for NYC and location was good.
Disliked: We told them several times that the safe was not working in the room but they never fixed it. We left our luggage to be held after checkout and came back to find it soaking wet because there was a leak in the luggage room. But they did not tell us, I only found out when I realized my camera bag was soaked and asked what happened.

A fantastic stay in NYC

Liked: Fantastic stay in NYC. All staff made every effort to be hospitable. Door men, bell desk and housekeeping were exceptional. Really wonderful surprise given hospitality has been lacking since the pandemic all over the world. Thank you to the team at the Intercontinental.

Liked: The staff especially the N ell Hops (Bert) were so courteous and professional. My spouse is disabled and the entire staff was awesome.

Liked: Great location , professionnel staff friendly helpful mr Ahmad at the front desk and mr jeric the concierge and all the staff of the hotel I really mean all of them they made my stay fabulous . the manager of the hotel can be proud of them many thanks see you hopefully next spring. the room was nicely decorated, excellent restaurant.
