Liked: The location was good. The swimming pool was nice.
Disliked: One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Staying here was incredibly stressful. The rooms are very dated and in serious need of refurbishment—but the real issue was the service.I stayed with my wife and toddler, and noticed that the Smart TV wasn’t working. The reception sent an engineer who showed up with a very casual attitude. He just shrugged and said, “Ah, I don’t know what’s wrong. I guess it’s not working. It definitely won’t be fixed today.” When I called reception again, they simply said, “The internet on the TVs hasn’t been working in some rooms—I don’t know what else to tell you.” They refused to move us to another room or cancel the remaining nights without charging us. Instead, they told me to contact Booking.com, or alternatively, use a hotel service for free as compensation.When I asked if I could use the laundry service free of charge, the supervisor agreed and confirmed a full refund would be issued for it. I gave them my laundry—but two items went missing. I had a wedding to attend the next day, and they couldn’t explain why the items were missing. After I pushed them, they told me to wait until the following day. Even then, there were no clear answers until they finally tracked my clothes down at the dry cleaners and returned them to my room.At checkout, only 50% of the laundry charge had been removed. When I asked to speak to the supervisor, the receptionist went to speak to them and came back saying a full refund would now be applied—but the supervisor still refused to come out and speak to me. In fact, the supervisor ignored my request to meet with them on two occasions.Overall, the service at this hotel was shockingly poor. I would never stay here again.
