Liked: location, breakfast (esp.juice machine), very comfortable bed, beautiful building
Disliked: I was a bit dissapointed that the message I sent to the hotel via Booking.com wasn't read. I asked for some extra stuff that I wanted to have by my arrival but unfortunately I had to ask twice. The hotel is nice, but it is old. I think it's important to understand that if you book a standard room - the windows don't go outside. They go inside the building which is super unusual.

Lovely relaxed safe stay

Liked: It was great. Quiet room, clean, facilities exceptional, staff exceptional and so polite, food amazing.

Superb

Liked: The staff were lovely , all very helpful and accomodating. The hotel was very quiet and felt high end.
Disliked: Would have been nice if the indoor pool was heated.

Disliked: Cold showers no hot water in bathrooms for two nights. Mario the manager was very obliging and accomodating in the end offering us discount and a suite for the last night

Great location for exploring Melbourne

Liked: Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and efficient front desk staff providing excellent service. Heritage style of building and its history. Ronnie’s restaurant in the complex was excellent.

Very good indeed.

Liked: Staff service was simply superb. Attention to detail was excellent. I'd return for this reason—as well as for the comfort of the room, and the superb breakfast!
Disliked: The accommodation is getting a bit tired, now: especially the bathroom. Time for a comprehensive renovation.
