Terrible at the start but...

Disliked: Cold showers no hot water in bathrooms for two nights. Mario the manager was very obliging and accomodating in the end offering us discount and a suite for the last night

Great location for exploring Melbourne

Liked: Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and efficient front desk staff providing excellent service. Heritage style of building and its history. Ronnie’s restaurant in the complex was excellent.

Very good indeed.

Liked: Staff service was simply superb. Attention to detail was excellent. I'd return for this reason—as well as for the comfort of the room, and the superb breakfast!
Disliked: The accommodation is getting a bit tired, now: especially the bathroom. Time for a comprehensive renovation.

Lovely stay, nice and quiet....

Liked: Beautiful building! The location is perfect and the in-house restaurant and breakfast area is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished.
