Liked: The lobby. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Hotel is very tired. Had to move room once, could have a second. Suspect the hotel is tired under the hood with investment on infrastructure due. All service are noisy. No good communal areas for working. Take a box of cornflakes to find your way around. Unusual layout.

Liked: A fantastically central hotel with amazing staff and rooms. We were welcomed straight away and provided with a room at 8am after our journey off the sleeper train, which was not expected. The staff also sent a bottle of Prosecco to our room to make our stay even more special. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay

Liked: Breakfast was superb, as was the restaurant in the evenings. In both cases the staff were excellent - very attentive, friendly and polite but not intrusive.
Disliked: On arrival in my room, the first thing I wanted to do was close the window, as it had been left open and the room was a little chilly - but the window handle came off in my hand. It was not the best first impression.

Liked: Excellent location and fantastic staff, all very welcoming and attentive. Walking distance to everything. Great street for shopping.
Disliked: We stayed in a large double as we were travelling with teenagers. Room was large enough but the bathroom was tiny. Very comfy beds and well stocked for in room tea and coffee. Some areas were a little dated. Breakfast not remarkable but fine.
