Disappointing service, definitely not 5...

Liked: The room itself was lovely and the hotel was nice and clean.
Disliked: The staff were not what you would expect for a 5 star hotel. At one point we came in and there were 5 staff members at the front desk and not one of them acknowledged that we were even there. The next day we got conflicting information about the breakfast and were almost charged for something that we were told at check in was included. Overall, I would not rate this as a 5 star hotel at all. I have been to much nicer properties which cost much less with much better service.

Liked: Very good breakfast with a superb selection of items. The spa was wonderful and the room itself was a significant size with a large bathroom too.
Disliked: Nothing. Worth noting it is a 50min walk to the shopping area of Dublin but taxis are plentiful.

Expensive and disappointing - there...

Disliked: Hotel seemed a bit dated and worn and no modern tech in the bedroom - no steaming services and no screencast. Both breakfast and lunch were disappointing and lunch was so expensive - nearly €70 for two sandwiches and two soft drinks! €25 a night parking fee seemed incredible after paying so much to stay

Fabulous hotel - will be...

Liked: Great service, staff very friendly and helpful. I loved the bed - it was incredibly comfortable. The room was great. Great location next door to the RDS, perfect for the event I was attending. Lovely trees around the property - you don't feel like you are in a city.
