Worthwhile to consider literally on...

Liked: This hotel is literally located on top of the train station. But you have no idea during the night that you are that close. It not only allows for easy connection, but also fro a good parking garage as well as for an easy grab for breakfast.Rooms are sufficiently spacious as is the bath room. Nothing really out-of-class but a good hotel for a night sleep.Free umbrella was stocked in the wardrobe, which I definitely was in need of during my stay.
Disliked: Staff at check-in was very plain and not so welcoming. Desk in the room is a bit small though sufficient for a laptop. I lacked the room temperature control, though it wasn't that warm or cold in the room.

Liked: This is the best positioned hotel for a weekend stay in Hamburg.
Disliked: Platform side of hotel has lots of train station noise.

Disliked: Nothing, I met my expectation so I am happy.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were very kind and the hotel was very clean. It's right next to the railway station Hamburg Altona but it's so we'll insulated that you can't hear the trains. You get off the train and walk on the platform. A few meters away is the S-Bahn. Very convenient! My friend liked it so much that she's booking it again in September.
Disliked: We didn't try the breakfast because it was a bit pricey and there are cheaper alternatives at the railway station.
