Liked: Clean, comfortable and well located. Friendly staff as well
Disliked: Bar was shut on Bank Holiday Monday.. But everything else was perfect

Liked: I've stayed here before. Good location.
Disliked: The woman on check in was hilariously rude. Ignoring what I said, being exasperated by any questions and generally just acting like I was a nuisance. I was only at the desk for about two minutes and when I had an issue later I decided to talk to other staff rather than her.

Nice and convenient when visiting...

Liked: The location of the hotel is obviously very convenient when you have to get to the Messe Essen as the train station is only a 5 minute walk away. Parking was also available and convenient. Breakfast was plenty and very good, although the breakfast room seemed a bit dark and more light would be nice ;).
Disliked: For me the mattress was too hard and the pillow non existent which lead to neck problems/ headaches in the morning.
