Good
Disliked: Due to being in the railway station, there can be too much noise coming from passerbys, during the nights. As the unit didnt have air conditioner, noise was really a problem when we had to open window.

Very good :)
Liked: The hotel is located right at Ostbahnhof Station, so instant access to S-bahn and RE trains. Also there were alot of bakeries and food places inside the station, aswell as Rewe and Penny markets in the underground level. Only 500 meters from the start of East Side Gallery. The hotel also offers a card with unlimited transport within ABC zones for the duration of your stay, which includes u-bahn, s-bahn and buses (you have to register online as h-rewards member before you get this).
Disliked: The pillows should be replaced for better (normal) ones; the one's they have are of square shape and very soft..not very convenient for sleeping. Also the wifi is not the best and should be improved...

Liked: Very good location. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: The shower drain was clogged, which was solved by the housekeeper in the same day I complained. Just a small issue, but took some of my time.

Great location, clean rooms but...
Liked: The location of the hotel was amazing and it was great value for money. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Despite being so close to the train station we couldn’t hear any noise from passing trains.
Disliked: When we arrived at the hotel we tried to use the self check in machine to check in. Despite having pre-paid, the check in machine told us that I still owed 15 euros. The lady at the check in desk was having some trouble with the till, and was slamming the cashier’s drawer aggressively whilst swearing repeatedly under her breath. As I could see she was busy with something, I patiently waited for her to be finished with what she was doing. However she looked up at me and rudely told me that there were self check in desks for a reason and went back to what she was doing. As it turns out, I was correct and should not have been charged the 15 euros. The lady rectified this, but provided the worst service I have ever experienced whilst checking in to a hotel. I was genuinely shocked at how poorly a hotel guest could be treated at check in, the experience can only be described as hostile. Even though the hotel was great value for money, I would not consider giving money to this hotel again.
