Disappointing stay, bad value for...

Liked: The location was good as I was attending a concert at the LDLC arena, so this hotel was both close to that and the airport/train stations, and had bus stop right in front as well as a café. Easy to get to the center as the public transport is fabulous, even if it's not the closest. The staff were helpful and friendly, check in and check out were super smooth.
Disliked: The room was FREEZING cold, the radiator only worked on one side, so half of it wasn't heating up and even then the half that did heat up wasn't that warm. There was a hole in the wall from where the telephone would hang, letting in more cold air into the already freezing room. I had to hang the phone back up myself to try and get less air in, as it was right next to the head of the bed. There were only 2 thin pillows on a very stiff bed, that would shift around on the floor if you moved in the bed too much. There was a lot of short hair in the shower stall, and some in the sink, as well as some old soap or gel still stuck to the sink counter on one side. The facilities were outdated, the room was small in my opinion, and there are no amenities whatsoever apart from a tiny thing of liquid soap they give. For the price I paid, I found it absurd that this was the quality of the rooms. I've paid similar prices at 3 or 4 star hotels, for massive suites, but unfortunately this was the only hotel close to the venue that wasn't sold out or had a ridiculous inflated price due to the events being held on the same day in the arena and the stadium. I thought it looked good from the reviews and pictures online but was sorely disappointed.

Disliked: The water to the room had been switched off on arrival, the bed linen to the double bed was dirty and we were woken at 8:30 by workmen drilling and hammering.
