Liked: I stayed at Instow Barton for two nights with my mother and we really enjoyed our time there. It is set in a peaceful location above the village of Instow by the church. We received a warm welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Especially good was the breakfast which was varied, generous and delicious. I understood there was a trained chef in the family and you could tell! I would recommend a stay here to anyone.

Liked: Fabulous B&B, spotlessly clean, large room with a comfortable bed and homemade cake which was a nice touch. Caroline & Colin are perfect hosts, very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. Instow Barton is ideally located close to the Tarka trail and only a 10 minute walk into Instow. We would definitely stay again, highly recommended!

A fabulous, peaceful, old farmhouse...

Liked: Such a lovely old farmhouse in the sweet hamlet of Instow Barton, a 15 minute walk to Instow and the beach. A friendly welcome and cup of tea and home made cake was much appreciated and delicious. The delightful terrace, perfect to sit and rest our feet after a day of walking the coast path. The bedroom was spacious and the shower powerful. A very quiet and peaceful location. The breakfast was wonderful, a skilled chef and beautifully presented fresh fruit, yogurt, toast and a choice of hot dishes and lots of tea and coffee. All freshly prepared. We wish we had ordered the packed lunch! We would love to return as this is a really special place.
