Location was perfect for train station and the bed was the comfiest hotel bed I have ever experienced! Stay at Innkeeper's Lodge Maidstone - friendly staff and clean.
Disliked: Guy in the room below snored like an express train!

We enjoyed it and would...
Liked: Our room no: 5 was lovely - it has an 'anti-room and rail for coats, clothes etc. and then the main bedroom overlooks the 'patio area' at the front and the large roundabout (no noise from traffic).the bed is 'Queen' size - there should be a choice of 'pillow-type' - theirs are 'poly,' not good. The smoke-alarm should be a proper 'smoke-alarm' not a 'movement' alarm.More shelving required in the bathroom. A curtain between anti-room and main room would be good.
Disliked: See above: re: the room.Breakfast was very good - one choice for traditional English Breakfast and one for a Vegetarian, which I had.It is a 'Steak-House' - our Waitress was very attentive, as it was our 'first-time' in a 'Miller & Carter' restaurant. On Sundays and Thursday they have a 3-course menu for £29.95; otherwise, 'a-la-carte.'
