pleasant stay, doubt we would...
Liked: rooms were clean and tidy, good size too. windows don’t open tho so a little stuffy in the heat
Disliked: no hotel staff, if you ever need anything you had to go to the bar in the pub, Wi-Fi was very temperamental, asked for an iron an ironing board on our first day and didn’t see a member off staff until we checked out

Feels like staff think hotel...
Liked: Nice pub in lovely Dulwich Village
Disliked: Far away from public transport links - overground is unreliable to get into London. Staff were rude, unavailable at check in, poor Wi-Fi and phone signal so impossible to get in touch with numbers left on reception door. Clean but very basic.

Disliked: Breakfast choice as stated above.Although everyone was polite, helpful and friendly with us this was not the appearance with the management and staff.

DO NOT STAY HERE
Liked: The woman on reception was nice
Disliked: There were almost no toiletries provided, even after asking for some at reception (which you have to visit in person if you need anything - there is NO other way to contact them) - I ended up having to wash my face with hair and body shampoo because there wasn't even a bar of soap and it was the ONLY form of 'soap' provided. The room was very unclean: bleach stains on the carpet; lipstick on the bathtub; the loo wouldn't flush properly, meaning we turned up to a room with someone else's faeces in the lavatory bowl (we know it was... *that* and not rust or anything because pieces of faecal matter floated up when we flushed the loo); there was (what I sincerely hope to be) ketchup on the curtains; one of the mugs was chipped and the bedside table was falling apart - all of which we took photos of. The Wi-Fi might as well not be offered as the signal was so poor in our room that we couldn't use the internet, and the signal was too bad for us to use data. The beds were extremely uncomfortable - I would have asked for another/thinner pillow, however, the reception closes at 10pm... and since the staff weren't capable of bringing me a bar of soap, I doubted anyone would bother bringing me a pillow 'out of hours'. Someone thought it would be a good idea to start up a leaf blower at 8AM and clear the outside seating area of the pub that connects to the rooms, waking us (and I'm sure others) up far too early on a Bank Holiday Monday. All in all, it was NOT worth anywhere NEAR the £167.20 we spent for the one night. I feel as though I've been completely cheated of my money. Please DO NOT STAY HERE.
