Step back in time at Inn San Francisco, a beautifully preserved Victorian bed & breakfast nestled in the vibrant Mission District. With its plush antique furnishings, cozy garden, and authentic charm, this B&B offers a peaceful retreat just minutes from downtown and major concert venues. Guests enjoy thoughtful extras like complimentary WiFi, 24-hour refreshments, and a daily breakfast buffet—perfect fuel for a night of music and fun.
Located just 2 miles from major hubs like Moscone Center and Union Square, Inn San Francisco puts you within easy reach of top live music spots while offering a quiet place to recharge. The late 12:00 PM checkout means you can sleep in after a night out, and the neighborhood is well-connected with late-night rideshare and public transit options. Despite its central location, the vibe is serene—ideal for winding down post-show.
Start your day right with the daily breakfast buffet—served late enough for post-concert sleep-ins. While there’s no full-service restaurant, guests love the 24-hour refreshments and in-room mini-fridges for late-night snacks. The Mission District is packed with walkable dining options, from taco joints to cozy cafes, many open late.
While the inn itself doesn’t host live music, it’s surrounded by some of San Francisco’s most eclectic nightlife. You’re within walking or short driving distance to bars, lounges, and small music venues that showcase everything from indie bands to jazz. Afterward, the inn’s peaceful hot tub and garden offer a perfect wind-down.
This isn’t a modern chain hotel—so if you need an elevator, be aware that the historic building has stairs. Some guests mention that the décor feels a bit dated—but that’s part of the charm! Parking can be tricky, so plan ahead if you’re driving in.
Inn San Francisco is a cozy, character-filled B&B that gives concert-goers a restful, charming haven just minutes from the city’s best venues.

Perfect place to be in San Francisco. We had considered staying in a hotel and we came across this place. So worth it! The pictures online don't do it justice. It's really a beautiful, quiet, little oasis in San Francisco. Much better than being in a stuffy hotel room with tons of people.
Liked: It was an unexpected, quiet, oasis. Loved everything about it. My husband and I were sad to leave the next day.
Disliked: Not a thing.

Easy, clean, and the breakfast...
Liked: The Inn San Francisco is an Edwardian delight from carpets and drapes to furnishings and lamps. The Mission District is vibrant with lots of food and entertainment just around the corner.
Disliked: There are a lot of steps up to the 3rd floor!

Liked: We were impressed by the beauty of the house, the warmth of Marty and the view from the rooftop. The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at in San Francisco.

Fantastic! Will return for sure.
Liked: Lovely space! Loved the owner and the staff. Give your money to old-timer San Fran folks and not corporations like Airbnb! Stay at the Inn. You won’t regret it! Though, might not be the best place for young, energetic kids… Our six-year old isn’t loud, but noise travels in old homes and we felt bad for the other guests. All in all, a fantastic retreat in the middle of SF.
