Superb location, modern clean comfortable...

Liked: Brilliant location on the Market Square surrounded by shops bars/restaurants and just a very short walk to the discounted long stay public parking. Within short walk of the lake and ferry jetties and the beautiful scenery around it. Modern well appointed and spotlessly clean hotel, including bar, breakfast room and its own steak house restaurant with other food options. Room had a lovely comfortable bed, large en-suite toilet and double shower enclosure, again modern and spotlessly clean. Lots of choice for breakfast and food was of high quality. All staff were extremely friendly polite and accommodating. Seamless check-in/parking system arrangement. Will definitely book again.
Disliked: Not the fault of the hotel but loud and sustained noise from clanging metal bars and fixings and shouting whilst the extensive market stalls were being erected on Saturday morning (from about 5am ish). Also late night noise from revellers on the Market Square Friday and Saturday night. Recommend asking for a room not facing the Square if this would be an issue to the guest.

Absolutely book for location.

Disliked: Be aware tiny lifts.

Excellent place to visit Keswick

A fabulous hotel we will...

Liked: This was a beautiful hotel in the centre of Keswick. For an extra charge they have a limited number of parking spaces at the back of the hotel. This was well worth paying as it was a Bank Holiday. The room was modern and clean. We ate at the hotel and the food was 10/10 I would highly recommend the Chateaubriand. All the staff were amazing, so polite and attentive.

Great location, some lovely aspects...

Liked: Excellent location, wonderful breakfast and a great bar.Had to make a last minute change to the booking and the lovely gentleman who answered the phone was very understanding and accommodating.
Disliked: Receptionist wasn’t very welcoming on arrival.Wardrobe had a room fan in it (as room very hot overnight) that was covered in dust and got on all of our clothes after we’d unpacked. It was removed after reported, but some items were so dusty they were unusable for the trip.Shower head was covered in black mould (we cleaned it off before using).Cups in rooms were cracked and marked.Room was at front of hotel and very noisy early in the morning (just take earplugs) but that can’t really be helped as the location is very good.
