Liked: Terribles dirty old bad smell I do not recommend it
Disliked: Nothing, I was there for 20 minutes and he guided me to another hotel.

Fine but very noisy motel

Liked: -nice view of the Hudson-common shared outdoor seating on the patio
Disliked: -very cramped bathroom (door literally scraped the toilet bowl when closing/opening)-incredibly noisy (next to a loud highway and honking trains all night)-breakfast was very meh, it was a paper bag filled with pre-packaged food like porridge and muffins-no restaurants in close proximity when you’re not there with a car

Beautiful views- dated rooms- decent...

Liked: The view from room 48 is amazing! Looking out at the mountains and the Hudson River area is beautiful. The porch wasso nice- two big wicker chairs! I also liked that our porch was out front on the second floor but that we parked around back and the door was right behind our parking space- so easy to unload! The front desk staff were very nice.
Disliked: The rooms are so dated! It looks as though the rooms used to have carpet, and the carpet has been removed to reveal the original wood floors that need some care. The carpet was removed from the floor, but the carpet went up the wall at the base about 6-8" around the whole room and that still remains. There was expandable foam that has been put into various cracks and it just looks gross. Overall I just didn't want to set anything down on the floor and felt like I needed to wear my flip flops so my feet didn't touch the bare floor in the bedroom or bath.

Nice location and view but...

Liked: The location and the view of the Hudson. That's all I liked.
Disliked: False advertising about the working pool. I specifically booked my days here for that reason so I would have something to do while my kids were at work during the day. The website states and shows a pool. I would have booked my stay at a different place had I known. Waste. Housekeeping never cleaned my room one time! The first day I had the do not disturb sign up so I could sleep and they were knocking and walked in! Then after that I specifically asked her to clean my room and it was never done one single day that I was there! The TV stopped working. I had to Google how to fix it myself! And the day that I was checking out I wasn't aware that I was supposed to leave the key in my room. Any place that I've ever stayed I had to go to the desk to give my key back so I went to the front desk to check out and the worker at the desk was very very rude!!! Basically called me stupid for coming in there at 3:00 in the morning.Really??!! The tables and the sitting area overlooking the water are absolutely filthy and Dusty and unpleasant to even sit at! With not being able to use the pool guests should at least be able to sit and enjoy the water view. I well deserve some of my money back! I will not be staying here again. Sad. Because it is a cute little place with potential.
