Disliked: i booked a king size room and it was not a king size room they show a small couch and a desk with microwave it had actually not one of those things

Nice location and view but...

Liked: The location and the view of the Hudson. That's all I liked.
Disliked: False advertising about the working pool. I specifically booked my days here for that reason so I would have something to do while my kids were at work during the day. The website states and shows a pool. I would have booked my stay at a different place had I known. Waste. Housekeeping never cleaned my room one time! The first day I had the do not disturb sign up so I could sleep and they were knocking and walked in! Then after that I specifically asked her to clean my room and it was never done one single day that I was there! The TV stopped working. I had to Google how to fix it myself! And the day that I was checking out I wasn't aware that I was supposed to leave the key in my room. Any place that I've ever stayed I had to go to the desk to give my key back so I went to the front desk to check out and the worker at the desk was very very rude!!! Basically called me stupid for coming in there at 3:00 in the morning.Really??!! The tables and the sitting area overlooking the water are absolutely filthy and Dusty and unpleasant to even sit at! With not being able to use the pool guests should at least be able to sit and enjoy the water view. I well deserve some of my money back! I will not be staying here again. Sad. Because it is a cute little place with potential.

Disliked: When I went there the woman at the desk told me you guys cancelled the room. She said she did have ONE room left and that I could have it . I didn’t have my debt card and they didn’t do apple . I asked her if my boyfriend can come in and pay she said sure . When my boyfriend went in to play she told him that she didn’t have any rooms left . My boyfriend is African American with braids . We ended up leaving and going to the hyatt which was cheaper and really nice . My boyfriend was really upset that night . I have never been in a situation like that . The woman at the desk was a caucasian woman in her 60s . I will never book with them again . I do plan on telling my social following what happened .

Passable

Liked: I liked the location. Its right off the highway and easy to get to shops and food. The staff was very kind. I loved the view from the area near the pool. The room was a decent size and was suitable for a night's stay. The breakfast to go bags were great and the coffee.
Disliked: The TV signal kept going out. The toiletries provided were small. The outside lights shining into the room made it a little difficult to sleep.maybe some black out curtains would be great.

Pleasant

Adequate but not a place...

Liked: The first room we were given was spacious, though we didn't see any lamps or overhead lighting in the dining area. We went out to dinner and when we came back there was a mouse running around the room. We immediately went to the office and they gave us another room. That room was smaller, though it had a nice terrace with a good view of the Hudson River. It was also quite dark, but it served the purpose.
Disliked: The Inn was clean and in reasonable repair. The location was not ideal but about the best we could do.
