A historic, but "tired" hotel

Liked: Beds were decently comfortable. Staff was helpful.
Disliked: From the photos, we were excited to stay in a historic hotel, but it was definitely a 'tired hotel'. The pool is no longer operational and is blocked off. The room smelled very 'dank' and musty - could definitely use a dehumidifier in EACH room. We left books in the car, so they wouldn't get 'wet' from the moisture in the air. Bagged breakfast was available (but they run out on weekends... maybe make more), but it's all heavily-processed, packaged foods.

Based on price point and...

Liked: Location met our needs
Disliked: Water damage in bedroom ceiling. Night latch missing. Dirty tub grout. Overall needs maintenance

Liked: Just a very good trip. The room was very very good. The view was spectacular. The staff was good and I definitely go back there again
Disliked: The cleanliness, the quickness to get the room and the view

Liked: Not much stayed as younger adult had live music pool and restaurant now a ghost town over priced
