Superb

A step up from economy...

Liked: Attractive accommodations, great location, breakfast options in the morning. I left behind my laptop charger, and got a notification text right away. I picked it up a week later on my return drive. I really appreciated the staff being so conscientious.
Disliked: Out bed was not level....footboard higher than headboard... decline was noticeable but we stilled slept thru the night.

Liked: Convenient walking distance to upscale shopping. Beautiful sea vistas. Lovely garden plantings around rooms.
Disliked: For me, it was perfect. If you are expecting romance and al fresco happy hour, there are plenty of options in Santa Barbara that are more tucked away. But I come to Summerland for the shopping.

Liked: Beautiful property and just far enough away from downtown, but still a quick walk. Two levels of parking which worked out great for us. Continental breakfast was good and someone actually made us eggs and bacon! Welcome surprise.Lots of restaurants and gift shops
Disliked: The bathtub/shower was a jacuzzi tub so it was deep and hard to get in and out of. It would have helped a lot if there was a bar to hang on to. We also didn’t realize that the property would be SO CLOSE to the freeway.
