The hotel served its purpose...

Liked: The location to the Boardwalk was perfect. We were able to walk to wherever we went.
Disliked: The room needs a good deep cleaning. The floor and carpet were so sticky we had to wear our shoes in there. The bathroom door scraped across the floor and didn’t open all the way unless you forced it. The room door was tore up on the bottom and a gaping hole on the bottom. Made the reservation online for a bay view room and paid more and then was charged more to get that room once we got there. The outside of the property appears to be neglected and needs some much needed maintenance.

Liked: This hotel is in an amazing location. We were minutes from most things and right off the main road. Being on the harbor was awesome and provided great views
Disliked: The walls are paper thin, to the point where I was woken up by my neighbors alarm one morning. the elevator was questionable, often moving up while the door was still open. If you want a hotel with a traditional continental breakfast, this isn’t it. They had basic things like bagels and yogurt but that was about it.

Liked: Location and amenities were good. Staff was pleasant.
Disliked: The toilet seat needed to be changed. It had areas where it was turning brown. Bathroom floor and baseboards were dirty. Sunflower seed shells left on the balcony from the previous guest.

Liked: We enjoyed our stay. First time to Destin and it was perfect for fishing and water activities!
