Was first time at a...

Liked: Was told breakfast served at 9:15 showed up at 9:05 ever table full and everyone was eating. Went back to room to pack came back down stairs two tables open but dirty, no staff around to ask if could be cleaned. We just decided to just leave and eat some were else. Came back down for the 3rd time with our bags checked for any staff to check out, still no one to be found. Found a great little family owned dinner leaveing town, great food prices and plenty of staff.
Disliked: The price you charge for staying at the Inn was okay due to location and being told what a great breakfast you make but can't get anyone to clean or serve it was disappointing. Maybe you should lower price and stop offering food.

Would stay again.

Liked: The room was just as expected. Bed was comfortable. I was concerned that it would be noisy, but this room was surprisingly quiet. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Provided parking (just a warning, it is a very small spot) Great place overall.
Disliked: Breakfast was good but not amazing. There was no option to control the temperature in your room. We just bought a fan and it worked out. A vanity would be great in that specific room due to the mirror in the bathroom. I could only see the top of my head. Overall, the pros outweighed the cons.

Great location, unimpressive room and...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Small room with no place to put clothing except tiny nightstand drawer and weird low chest topped with a bar and pegs to hang clothes; 3 hangers provided one of which was broken. Shower stall in an alcove separate from a tiny room with sink and toilet. No place to put toiletries. Low lighting in “bathroom” and the bedroom area. You are charged $15 a day “cleaning fee” but we only received service if we asked for it. Breakfast was okay, but small portions, generally a small cup of fruit and eggs or pancakes(2) or small waffles. No other bread or pastry was offered.. Except for location, this place doesn’t have much going for it.

Fair - 2.5 out of 5

Could have been great

Liked: Very little attention to details. Holes in walls, loose tiles, flakey staff, hard mattress, tiny tv, poor design for most things.
Disliked: Food allergies are real especially after covid. Pay attention. Fix holes and tiles - no excuse. Monitor your happy hour and stick it a bit better. Cheezits are way too off the mark. Fix door locks, lower mirrors to reasonable heights in bathrooms, put in bigger TVs. 19” is tiny.

Location was great, but would...

Liked: Location excellent, could walk to all the historic places in old town
Disliked: *Since the owner/operators do not seem to be on site like at many other B & B's, the morning staff (although all very nice) should be able to speak English in order to help if guests have questions before leaving for the day to explore. * Having one thermostat in the hall is challenging to please all the guests. One night it was freezing, another night it was so too warm* No extra kleenex or toilet paper left in room. If staying two nights and people before you used most of those supplies, there were no back up provisions. The breakfast staff couldn't understand what we needed and when you head out to explore for the day and return late afternoon, there was no staff around at end of day to ask*The "social hour" consisted of a jar of cheesy crackers, a few cookies on a plate and a decanter of red wine.*Breakfast just soso. Certainly not a hearty meal like most other B & B's we have stayed at. Although coffee is available at any time, the breakfast service should start at least 30 minutes earlier to accommodate early riser guests who want to get out and visit the area. Many guests were sitting in the dining room waiting for breakfast before the assigned time. The server was very nice but could not speak English. She worked very hard to set up and serve the meal.* Bottomline: For the price, the breakfast and social hour were not up to the standard of many of the other places we have stayed at.
